Discover the PACE program
March 22, 2025

As we age, managing healthcare costs becomes increasingly important, especially when it comes to essential prescription medications. Fortunately, Pennsylvania’s PACE (Pharmaceutical Assistance Contract for the Elderly) and PACENET programs offer a lifeline for seniors seeking affordable prescription drugs.

What is PACE?
PACE and PACENET are state-funded programs designed to help Pennsylvania residents aged 65 and older by significantly reducing the cost of prescription medications. With recent updates, even more seniors are now eligible for these benefits!
Are You Eligible?
To qualify for PACE, you must:
Be 65 years or older
Have been a Pennsylvania resident for at least 90 days before applying
Not be enrolled in Medicaid’s prescription benefit
Meet the income requirements (single: $14,500 or less; married couple: $17,700 or less)
PACENET expands these limits, assisting those with incomes slightly above the PACE thresholds (single: up to $33,500; married couple: up to $41,500).
How Does It Work?
PACE and PACENET work with your existing Medicare Part D and other prescription plans to minimize out-of-pocket costs. Imagine paying less for your medications without any extra hassle!
